Well of course it's a natural response to what he went through. I don't mean to blame him for it or to say he is weak. What I mean is that his mental state is not "helping" him in any way. It's just killing him slowly. I specifically don't like the fact that the people around him are not noticing the changes and are using him for fame. I understand it's a fantasy and the video game has something to do with what he went through, but personally I would have preferred that he spent more time in the real word experiencing other thing rather that entering the game again. Of course seeing a doctor when possible.

I see your point, but this is the first time I’ve seen somebody try to hunt down the meaning behind what happened to them. It’s refreshing. Most stories are all “I got sucked into another world, now I’m back and I’m strong af. Who cares how it happened.” It makes the MC seem more human. Considering how everything that happened was actually real, of course he’d find the meaning. Especially when there’s a game in existence with the exact same world. He spent ten years in that world. It’s enough to change anybody. He left close bonds and he’s suffering survivor’s guilt so he wants to find out what happened to his friends, as well.

That is true.. but it's still sad to watch
