It’s probably cause I’m in the Uk but them smoking and drinking in high school doesn’t really phase me as I’ve seen people in my school and other schools do that, especially during parties. They’re in their last year of high school so they’re around 17-18, 18 being the legal age to smoke and drink in China. Then again as long as they don’t get caught then they can drink and smoke as much as they want.
Side couples, Shizu & hiiragi with kaji & haruki have better relationship than main couple ue & mafuyu. Like how shizu & kaji pampering their uke hiiragi & haru. While ue & mafuyu more to platonic. Honestly I kinda agree. I feel like their relationship is more platonic than romantic even if there are some intimate moments. It is still a beautiful relationship but the extra where 10 years later, Ue still works for Hiragi bands and left Mafuyu alone pretty much most of the time even go as far as not talking to each other for 3 days straight. I know it’s realistic but in terms of romantic moments, I feel like the side couples just have more than the main regretfully
