I’ve read the comments, and thought this manga is an example of disgusting grooming of an underage high school boy.
But in the end it was way healthier than comments made it look. Yeah, ten years is a big age difference, especially when the younger one had just started being legally adult but there was nothing disgusting about their relationship.
And Hoshina tried his best to distance himself and behave like an adult too.
So don’t be too afraid to read this story. It’s totally okay from a legal point of view. And a little bit questionable from the point of human ethics but not as much as people saying it is.
Were Maki’s parents living under a rock their whole lives? Most of the most famous and top-tier confectioners, patissiers and chefs were men, for God’s sake!
