i'm so ffing upset because lucas is the man. charismatic full of personality and hot. i can't believe that lil boy was orginally the ML, like quite frankly disgusting. he looks and acts like a child, i do pity him ofc but their interactions makes me feel uncomfortable. she's genuinely so dumb like why are you enabling his bad behavior and obsessing over a lil boy. I'll never understand how people stomach this trope, it's so distasteful and pedophilic idc if he's 500 year old or 100 year old shifter. ugh such a wasted potential.

hi, can anyone give me a honest review. (I like mc who isn't arrogant, hard working, has character development, and story isn't completely centered around him, but others also have personality / interactions yk)
This should have everything you're looking for. The mc is deeply relative at times but aloof. They work hard to develop, and face many challenges. (They're kind of forced to with their skill system, but training and action doesn't stop there.) The other characters are really important, and I think there's some chapters centered on different characters actions and backstories.
i just re-read this after a year or so ugh peak. words cannot describe how well this is written, like author really knows how to write such diverse stories. it's not just about power scaling, but true character growth and there's so much depth hidden in each arc/tower. i understand it's not everyone's cup of tea but i sincerely don't understand the complaints about the romance. why do people get so irked about simply two people loving each other. it was executed so beautifully, it wasn't sudden, it added to his character of finding happiness and love. they both sacrificed so much to be in the same timeline, and it didn't make him weaker or anything, in fact it deepen his perspective. i'm simply glad there isn't girls left and right for goons, but one true woman he's obsessed with that loves him just as much.

for my own mental health, i will not continue reading this knowing it's dropped. however the story seems really interesting so pls let me know if there's any other bl series like this that 50/50 on romance / plot, or plot heavy around martial arts / murim. i love power op murim manhwas, I wish bl was incorporated into some of my faves ugh.
