Upon first reading, I was shocked by the rape content (note: Kenjaku x Geto) and the cruelty towards the fate of both characters (Gojo x Geto). However, after a second reading a few months later, I began to understand its story.

This ABO setting could be a metaphor for what Gojo feels: Geto becoming an Omega without telling Gojo = Geto's "summer stress," Geto being raped by Kenjaku = Geto's body being exploited by Kenjaku.

For Geto: Geto being forced to kill his own children while grateful that in this life he has a monster (Kenjaku) as a father = Geto's feelings of regret and guilt towards those he killed + internal conflicts within himself.

This life without curses is Geto's Purgatory. Geto believes everything he endures is the price he pays for the sins he committed against everyone, including Gojo. But because Gojo is always by his side and bear the suffering with him, Geto is finnaly made the decision to let go of this life.

I also think this is also Gojo's Purgatory because he feels guilty for not being strong will enough to kill Geto, and as a result, Gojo's love for Geto led to Kenjaku possessing Geto's body – an insult Gojo considers the most horrific to the person he loves, and he cant do anything to it
.
I think the real ending would be the scene where Gojo meet Geto in front of the KFC (reincarnated life? heaven?), with Geto final soft smile for him and Gojo finally 'purple' Geto.(/TДT)/

I'm I thinking too much?

another reread and i noticed on the last panel there is a sign “West gate”. In the manga, West - South, represent new start - old life. We know that at the end, Sukuna heading for West, while Gojo heading for South. So what could it mean? Is this life is a result of Gojo chosing cling to his past and finnaly at the end, when he decided to let go of Geto, does a new start for him start? ╥﹏╥

i love the art style and the storytelling but the plot is kinda off, I guess I had a high expectation since the beginning is so mysterious and old-tale vibe...
