i like the way things ended in season one. i consider it a happy ending so i don’t think i’m going to keep up with the second season.

it’s entertaining & a fast read. the tl/ts notes were kinda annoying but they eventually stopped which was good.

my lists got wiped & im kinda bummed cuz now idk what to read & i NEED a completed story so if anyone would be kind enough to give me recommendations, that’d be greatly appreciated.
i’ll read anything except:

- heterosexual omegaverse
- “marry my husband” & “the remarried empress” copies
- toxic yuri
- weak fl tropes

i don’t mind anything else, i read all genres

There were like 30 warnings per chapter so I’m not like mad/shocked at what I just read, I’m just disappointed because I was expecting a story or at least some lore but nah, it’s just a shitty manager getting raped for 8 chapters.

What did i just read?

I’m starting to hate Eunhyuk because not only did he ghost her for A DECADE, BECOME BESTIES WITH THAT BLONDE GIRL, AND OFFER ZERO EXPLANATIONS, BUT HE’S ALSO MEDDLING IN HER LOVE LIFE!!!! Like, can you leave her alone????
& I’m team Dohwa so it’s going to break my heart when she ends up rejecting him for ole dude again. I really don’t know how the author is going to go about this, but it’s either going to be a really shitty ending that everyone hates, or an unsatisfactory one that’s going to take some next level gaslighting to pull off.

The plot is really nice and because the story is short there isn’t a prolonged period of miscommunication

It’s so bad that it’s enjoyable. This is one of those manhwas where you get to turn your brain off and not question anything.

Talk about a character you deeply despise or dislike

I wish I could wipe my memory & read this again. The characters are unique & natural, the plot is consistent & develops beautifully, and the general vibe is super fresh. Hands down top 10 bl manhwa’s of all time.

The plot is great, the execution not so much. I stopped reading at chapter 43 because the main character is exhausting. The story itself has a really good plot, but it’s like really annoying how every other panel is her on her “woe is me” campaign. I understand she got abused by her dad so her confidence is like net zero, but it gets to a point where if this were happening in real life I’d call it attention seeking. There are moments where she actually uses that spine she was born with, but it doesn’t go further than in that instance. It’s like she takes 1 step forward and 3 steps back.
