100% agree. I don't like how they're failing at figuring out and communicating their feelings. feels very draggy

People just find them cute because of the whole comedic dynamic with the puppy top. They always have that kind of vibe, so people don’t get offended or take the consent issues too seriously. And honestly, I think a lot of people notice it but simply choose not to talk about it because they don’t want to “ruin” their so-called favorite manhwa.

Tbh, reading BL for almost 5 years, I was like this too. I used to question the dynamics after there was SA or non-con and would even drop the story because of it. But eventually, I just became numb to it because it happens in almost every BL manhwa. My entire being just got tired of pointing it out. I’d have almost no BL left to read (also reading shounen ai) if I dropped every story that had good storytelling and everything or caught my attention but also had SA or non-con happen once or twice or more. Though there are still times when I drop a story because of it, I’ve mostly just stopped questioning it so much lol. At this point, I’m just like, fuck it, I’m gonna read anything.

i literally agree with u i to felt to the point if rape is light or just a small part of the story will read it but if story revolves around the rape or its constant part of story i cant it makes me sick so i just drop it but it take troll on the brain i literally had drop passion or series similar like that but if it rapes small part of the story i would read it because i to became numb

Considering I have 2.5k completed reads here, the majority of which are BL, I do get it is easy to become numb to it and a lot of times I can overlook it. Particularly in older Manga. This was just super in your face and you could argue its a cultural part of this guide verse but in 2 chapters I was so tired of the blatant disregard to the guides will, I couldn't be optimistic to the rest of the Manwha.
