Sadly...stuff like this is rare between child and teen but.. Kids with mindset like that i can confirm that some children do act like that.. based from me babysitting and taking care of my nephew i think they're just too much exposed to the Internet that parents aren't rlly often aware of their child's history searches or vids..
i continue monitor my nephew though since i love him dearly much and he's only 5 it's hella scary sometimes when talks to me as if he's the same age as me...
he used word's that most children don't even know which kinda worriese but i blocked all the rated stuff on his mom and dad's phone lol he just watches alot of yt vids not gonna deny that he is bound to know such cruelty of the world but for me..there's a right time for that...since i don't want him to end up like me being expose to alot of shit at a young age....lol. （/TДT)/
Yeah kids being exposed to sexual content at a young age is really sad. I used to babysit one of my friends little sisters when i was 17, she was 8, started acting strange around me and i tried to talk to her mom about it but to no avail. She started telling me she liked me a lot and i didnt put much thought into it until she began touching me inappropriately (mainly my chest and crotch area..yeah). Got ahold of her tablet and there was some horrific stuff in her search history. I told her parents when they got home and quit saying that the image she had of me was to inappropriate, they put her into therapy after that. I only ever babysit my siblings now.
DANGG I'm proud of you man what you were able to get through that cuz if other people were able to take care of that kid it might not have ended in a good way... there are alot off predators out there while taking care of kids even if they were teens they would take advantage of children..
if i feel like there's something off with a kid I'd immediately tell their parents or I'd just confirm it myself and I'd always know my boundaries between kids sometimes being too kind just messes up their heads.. so i get to be that cold strict and fun nanny thought i just did it for part time to have extra cash for college it was good experience in learning children's personalities.
Yeah i had to set boundaries because her image of me was extremely inappropriate and enabling a child to to that way towards a much older person is irresponsible and borderline creepy. It was a great learning experience but i think that i let it go on for WAYY too long. I started noticing weird things only a week into babysitting her but i tried to ignore it for a whole month. Being too nice to kids can mislead them and im making sure I'll never do that again.
I commend you for doing that bcuz that shit is crazy and tbh scary situation to be in. Hope the best for you.
