Well the author is trying to doxx the translator by requesting a irl picture of them, their home address, people they know etc. Basically set a bounty on this person for translating two chapters. It’s bullying and harassment at this point.

Hi. As a readers who bought all episodes from official website, I can say someone send message to author saying her work being illegally translated and distributed. It was Vietnamese illegal website. Author digged deeper and got frustrated. In spite of the time as she called out illegal translators in bad light, their readers got involved as well. Like a chain, they then called out author attacking only Vietnamese translators, uploaders and readers as well. There were actually pretty much miss translation, some got offended as accepting threats as racist threats. So they pointed out Spanish translators and after that Russian translators and so on.

At the beginning author was saying that those who bought her work has no right to reshare, retranslate, and illegally distribute but only right of reading her work legally. Which is pretty much true. But I think due to hate that she has received from Vietnam readers (not all) she got even more frustrated and started twitting without properly looking on her own context of her words. Which pretty much can be offensive if retranslate it to english and other languages

But right now author being trolled by Russian readers who got offended the most. In Russia , propaganda of LGBTQ and it's any form is strictly restricted, so which makes manhwa impossible to be read there legally while website is blocked there. But even so Russian readers were buying her works officially and sending proofs but author generalised them saying all Russians readers are illegal readers which offended russian reader community. they have boycotted her works and now trolling her twitter. Author really sank deep this time. Because russian readers are pretty cruel tbh.

Am I missing something bec I read it and the Korean tweets as well and I did not see any death threats, just frustrated tweets. The doxxing including the selfie was posted by a different person which was dumbass but anw why did it become like this?

Because of language barrier. I didn't see death threats coming from author as well.

Death treat is when someone saying that they will kill you or harm you or make you harm/kill yourself. But not the " I will kill myself if you keep..." this is different things.

Right and the reward thing doesn't seem really illegal like people are saying since it's proven the person they're looking for is guilty. Tho I wish it didn't end up like this, it's a whole mess.

Yes that's where I got a bit taken off by author's behaviour. It is illegal and it was twitted by her. But from other side if to look at their conversation, uploaded send her long text where uploader herself was pretty rude saying author(you) can't do anything. I would feel pretty much offended too if the person distributing my work illegally dare to talk to me like that.
