They talk about it next chapter and the lord apologises for it and for all of his short comings as well as abolishing the tradition of choosing a lady to adopt !! The acknowledgement and talk along w the duke’s thoughts is so heartwarming !!
the sister quite literally up and left, mc worked to make sure they stayed afloat, the sister even though she's good I don't think she has the right to say who mc should be in a relationship with. mc deserves to at least have her relationship be of her choice.
I had a feeling that something was up after reading the last chapter but it turns out that feeling was right. It so sad when they just stop the story when its not even done yet...
