i seriously think the people saying that there's no relationship progress haven't read the first manga all the way to this chapter(thank you uploader!!) at first, souchi hated hanging out with morinaga when they started 'dating', but now they live together! and now souchi also sends lovey-dovey goodnight texts to morinaga, and finally gives an actual shit about morinaga!
we also have to remember that souchi is a TSUNDERE character, so he isn't the type to show or say what he feels.
and many may not know this, but one of the reasons why he's homophobic is because he got attacked by a professor in challengers (the og story)which may be why he's so defensive around gay people. and now he's in a gay relationship, it is hard to hate gays and suddenly become gay yourself.
last time, he even REFUSED having sex with morinaga, but now he's riding, reciprocating kisses, hugs,(masturbated twice to morinaga)and even OUTED HIS RELATIONSHIP TO HIS COWORKERS, telling them to keep it a secret because he knows what morinaga went through when he got outed, so he doesnt want morinaga to go through that again.
and honestly, if you aren't a fan of tsundere characters, you're never gonna like this story.

Takase has to understand, and I'm sure he does now: He's not just a closeted bisexual or homoromantic dude. He's someone who three months ago was ready to marry a woman because that's what was proper. And now he's confessing to a guy who three months ago was dumped by a dude who decided to marry a woman because that's what was proper.

Yuuichi didn't say anything wrong. When you've experienced hurt, it'll make you avoid things as a means of protecting yourself. If a male doctor sexually harasses you, you probably won't want to have any more male doctors for the rest of your life. Call it discrimination, but we do things out of fear to protect ourselves. Yeah, it's painful for Takase, yeah it sucks. But I think Yuuichi has every right to make that choice for himself. Yeah, a gay guy can cheat on him for someone else, but 1. That's not what he experienced that hurt him so deeply and 2. What he did experience—being cheated on by a guy who decided to have a "proper" life with a woman and child—hurts like a mother fucking bitch. And if his means of protecting himself from type specific type of hurt is to not go for bi guys who have dated women then *shrug*

But because this is a manga, we know Takase will somehow ease Yuuichi's fears and trust him and HEA. Yaay xD

Hm, I would say they are all fked up in the end. If I had to hate someone more I would hate the uke. He wouldnt be experiencing this in the first place if he didnt lead the old dude on.
He makes use of people and just throws them so I think he's just as fked up as the old guy and he's getting some karma.
Maybe he really aint bad but he decided to play with that dude so he gets consequences. Its a game he chose to play. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
