Milight drop this (?), I've been wanting to read it with all the hype but the story line unfortunately feels so generic. I can see why a specific group of people would like this, but it really ain't for me Imao. (p.s. I'm not hating on this, it just turned out to be something I'm not into)
Holy shit, holy fuck, holy mother of god. this has got to be THE BL of the year. Sure maybe I’ve missed out on some other BL that is deemed as magnificent this year but I just ADORE how raw, real and intimate the romance in this story feels. I am absolutely invested in the story as well, as I am a psych major. I actually used jaeyoung case during my study session earlier . I don’t think I’ve ever felt this giddy over any romance EVER . I am aroace so that might explain it? But for me to be able and feel their intimacy and tenderness through my screen??? Holy mackerel. This story absolutely deserves the attention it’s gotten. I am so glad it exists, and if it wasn’t obvious yet? It’s going straight into my top 5 EXPEDITIOUSLY. I looooove the small details put into Jun and his “friends” too, the glasses because they can’t come into contact with bright flashes of light??? The broom looking bleached hair to escape a positive result with drug testing???? (Shout out to the commenter who noticed this too hell yeah) besides our two main characters, everyone else feels so realistic. I love the casual character interactions so simple, yet it adds so much to the character writing. There’s so so much more I want to say, but it’s 4am, and I’ve got class for my major in a couple hours.. my brain is just about as fried as Juns hair atp.

So I chose to listen to “Those Eyes” by New West for chapter 42 and Istg. The moment Ji-min looked up to Ki-joong being right infront of him, the song timed PERFECTLY. This part of the song started playing “When we're done making love and you look up and give me those eyes ‘Cause all of the small things that you do are what remind me why I fell for you” when I tell you TEARS—tears started to flow dude.

Genuinely WHAT have I put myself through. It’s that way that each chapter showed more victims to this horrible caste game. Literally enrolling into this school equates to entering one of the 7 rings of hell, but you’re unaware oh what you’re getting your ass into. Imagine just wanting to get your studies done and all of a sudden you’re fighting for your life instead. This was so irritating, frustrating, and sickening. Finally caught up to the side stories. This was a whole ass rollercoaster, I was INCREDIBLY stressed omfg. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry (I’m still not over reading “Perle” and I’ve decided to pick this up so I’m glad this at least has a happy ending )
