Ethan got me bawling, to be honest i didn’t really like him for his two facedness but now he’s my favorite. It’s not easy to be willing to be the villain so everyone can be happy. He’s lost so much and is even lonelier than before but still puts on a brave face for his friends╥﹏╥. He shoulders all of the anger, blame, guilt, and fear just so everyone can move on and be happy, and what does he get no family, no friends, even his servants and high society now gossip and fear him. So seeing Paula who treated him like normal must have felt like breath of fresh air after drowning, especially when she told him he can cry when he’s with her.
At first, I didn’t like the female lead. I thought she was a pushover and a people pleaser, but I saw how she interacted with the children and how she genuinely cared for them and how despite how people saw her and treated her most of the time she still continue to put her best foot forward and keep being kind. Yes, she could be slightly desperate for love and affection of others, but it doesn’t mean that she wasn’t a good person and so I feel like watching the male lead fall in love with her, which is really cute because she deserved every inch of his love because she genuinely was a good person who deserved to be loved and I love how she fell in love with him. It was truly the worst first encounter between the both of them, but the way things have progressed. I can’t help but say I love this ship. I love seeing him in love with her, and I love how happy she is being loved by him.

To show that because of how much time passed that he got desperate in hopes that by “moving on” he would feel better but he didn’t and he got a shitty ex to top it off.
I’m going to cry I love them so much. Why are they so adorable. ML backstory was even more tragic than expected but I’m happy they found each other. I was smiling like an idiot for practically the whole story(except for the sad parts, and Min)
