It's so funny to me knowing that he was just taking the beating on purpose to look pitiful to his wifie.
I feel like the man would know of ways of rescuing her without anyone getting beaten up, but he still wanted to and so he did this whole dramatic scene on purpose, and that's really funny to me ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
She is just giving Iz more of a reason to want power at this point. If she made an ally out of Ruby, and seeing how taken she was with the princess, she can use Ruby and her kindness to her advantage, giving her the best odds that Izek would not want to harm them in the future. Even if he were to want power, he wouldn't get it at the cost of hurting Ruby by taking away her allies.
By betraying Ruby, she's just made an enemy out of Omerta, putting her daughter more at risk from the very thing she's trying to prevent.
It's so frustrating aghh Σ(っ°Д °;)っ

I'm thinking this the whole time but, isn't she a virgin? And if so, what would chae-woo think if she bleeds and he realized they've never been together despite being "married"?
She's been mentioning for the past few chaps that she's kept herself away from relationship and people in general, and how she knows about sex but it doesn't sound like it's from experience at all, so I'm so curious about that now...
I'm a virgin as well, but form what I know not all virgins bleed. It all depends on the shape of the hymen.
You can still bleed during intercourse even though you arent a virgin. For example if penetrating to hard :')
bleeding is not a sign of virginity.
Hi the hymen can break even from impact sports or just riding a bike. So not everyone bleeds the first time because it's not there. And also not everyone bleeds even with a hymen.
ML helped loosen her up with his fingers before presentation, so that might have helped. Blood may come later when it actually tore if the act gets too vigorous. Too much other bodily fluid at the moment. The description of the sensation of first penetrance ("hot stick of fire" iirc?) is very on point though.
I've also bled during sexual intercourse since my first one. Also, Chae-woo said he doesn't remember anything about having sex, so he might think it's normal for a woman to bleed after a long time without sex... which, by the way, might be true.
Bleeding doesn't mean anything. I didn't bleed during my first time.
Girls, I know women can bleed for reasons other than being virgins, I also know not all virgins bleed during their first time. Thank you for pointing it out but I brought it up for story telling type shi
Most writers depict bleeding as a sign of a woman's first time and it could be used as additional drama in this scene where trust is already all over the place and Chae-Woo is already losing it, I was just thinking about how it could turn out. I even wrote "IF she bleeds". I'll emphasize the IF this time.
Anyway, I was just thinking of hypotheticals for drama's sake, thanks for sharing your thoughts on blood and the hymen lmao
I'll put it like this, if, for whatever reason, he realized this is her first time despite them being "married", what would he think? Would he just jump to conclusions that they must have been that bad of a couple? Or will he spiral and start to believe what she said just before this that they were never married?
If you want to humor my blood comment. Maybe he will go into self hate mode because he just assumes he was too rough, or she plays it off saying she got her period. That's what I was thinking about anyway, but idk.
