I have never relate to a character as much as Cheongrok, I felt like I was having some self-reflection while reading because we have the same thought process and the same fears, it felt like I was reading a part of my story and it feels very personal to me now.
Anyways, I'm so glad they overcame those fears together, I'm really so happy for them, they are healing and trying to understand each other, it's so beautiful
It was great but many loose ends, the magician guy did not even appear even ONCE.
Wow that felt lacking, where's the imprint. The mc haven't even trusted the ml yet and how do you even date someone without trusting the other person. I feel like they'll just break up at some point after the main story, the ending is so abrupt.
I really like how they handled their relationship. I aspire to become mature like them with someone.
I wish the issue about his parents was addressed too.
The title should be "It's My Destiny to be The Hero's good Manipulator" because why is she playing god and make the male lead suffer intentionally to the point of killing him just because she wants him to experience betrayal to turn him the way he was like in the orginal novel, that's exteme manipulation and attempted murder tf. Abusing her authority just because the male lead have no choice but to follow. She's called a saint but she's like this lmao.
Rereading after 8 years, the nostalgia hit so hard. I miss reading this at midnight borrowing my dad's phone lmao
I have first read this when I was 13 and had to stop and I can't believe I still managed to finish this after a decade. I started from the first chapter again out of impulse, and I once remembered how much I enjoyed reading this as a teenager.
This might be bias since I became attached to them from when I was still a teenager but this is one of the most beautiful manga I've ever read. I wouldn't say they are a perfect couple but I feel like they match each other very well and they managed to pull through by trying really hard to communicate and giving their best to each other. They were a bit frustrating at times but they grew up and became matured a lot as a person and couple.
Now, I feel like from the first time I've read this a decage ago and to rereading this now, and from feeling like an innocent teenager witnessing their love story and to feeling like a friend who left and came back and see them all grown up, I'm so happy now that they got their happy ending <333
Ps. I hope the author consider a series for Hakamada!
Idk how to feel about this, I enjoyed all of the characters including yoohan and jay and also the revenge plot. The only thing I did not like is their relationship dynamic as there is still a sense of imbalance even after they got together, jay being forceful althrough out the story left me unsatisfied by the end of the story. i just felt that there should be atleast a couple chapters to see how they got to develop their relationship in a healthier way.
I already dropped this bc I hate the ML so much, but I decided to read it again bc the tab was still open lol, and I really wasn't expecting how great Taeju's character development would be, glad I decided to give it a chance again bc it's a good read too ^^
Bro the amt of times I looked away bc of embarassment and at the same time I feel really bad for him
I first read this when I was in junior highschool and now I'm already on my last year of college loll
