I just read a post saying not to add anything to your lists to help the devs through the process of fixing them (oops). Not to be rude, just genuinely looking for answers; on what basis are ppl saying that the devs are still working on fixing the hard disk. I mean, is it not just individual assumptions when multiple people have already received email confirmation that only be rated reads will come back? I rlly hope that the devs are still working on it but I kinda already came to terms that they won't be coming back, should I stop adding to my lists right now until however long it'll maybe take the devs to maybe restore the data
I did contact them about it and from my understanding, they can only restore the manga that was rated or had added tags when added to your list. I personally don't think they can restore the rest, so I started adding some of them back on my list myself

I rlly appreciate the devs ik they got a lot going on I just wish they gave some sort of disclaimer on the main page like - ur lists will come back or there is little chance the lists will come back or the data for unrated reads is gone. wait guys am I the only one who uses 'is reading' for ongoing series and 'already read' for completed series. Like was it not meant to be this way orr
I'll tell you how I use them :
"I want to read " - quite obvious
"is reading " - stories I am currently reading, if they're ongoing then I'll read a few chapters and then let it marinate till it's completed after which I'll read them, if they're already completed then I might have got bored mid way and decided to read it later hence i bookmark the chapter and add it in this section
"I already read" - only stories that are completed and i completed reading them too are added here.

i do is reading if i wanna keep reading it and already read even when its unfinished so i dont read it again on accident (if the series is pretty bad)
Personnally i have noticed that i get notifications for updates with either '' i am reading '' and '' already read '' lists, so i just figured it truly doesn't matter, you will get notified anyway. What i like is to keep my '' i am reading '' list super tidy, i limit it to the stories i am currently bindge reading , so mostly for the completed ones :-D _ or anything that i want to keep under my foot for a low energy day. _
I let comics marinate either in '' already read '' or in a list i made , called '' still ongoing stories '' so as to keep my '' already read '' list super tidy as well i just can't stand receiving notifications for just any stories i am letting marinate, i like to forget about them then come back to that list of '' still ongoing stories '' and have a happy surprise that they are completed :-) or that the season is completed :-)
Also my preference is to keep track of the loveliest stories that i have read, in specific reading lists, instead of the '' already read '' to keep things tidy and yummy , as i do like to come back to my favorites and keep them in a cozy place , like a bundle of joy i just love that this website allow us to create personnal lists its such a cool feature !
