I feel like Yeonwu and Taehwan's personalities clash. Taewhan is such a dick he need someone that can sass him back. To me, Yeonwu would need someone mature but gentle because then he just gets walked on by Taehwan's exaggerated personality.
I like this story and I like them as a couple, but I think that in reality their personalities seem so different to work. Like everytime Taehwan comes off as playful/cheeky/rude Yeonwu takes it seriously and then you feel bad for him lol

Regardless of who he ends up with I feel like this story is really obvious and predictable. It's literally a replica of BJ Alex, not that I'm complaining about that per se but it is so not original and it honestly feels like each chapter is a waste. I realize when coming to read smut/yaoi we aren't reading for the plot lol but the whole Cain was his dog in the past is so so dumb. I didn't even realize the supernatural tag until someone pointed it out but to literally have one character as a reincarnation of a dog is so pointless like don't bother adding supernatural because we know you needed a way to bring Cain into the story and apparently couldn't find a better situation! Like I love fantasy/supernatural but this is ridiculous and its just bad writing. Not sure if I will drop, I might read until it ends but jeez this writer is not the best and I feel bad for saying that (￣∇￣")
Although I loved ‘a guy like you’ ima have to agree with you.. I really got uninterested when I found out Cain used to be a dog and stuff- honestly just staying bc I like yahwi and wanna see how this shit ends lol. But I don’t think they’re a bad author- I think they should just put more effort into the story and not just make it an annoying love triangle for like 100 chapters
I think it’s a bad replica of bj Alex. BJ Alex was 10/10. I’m not enjoying this story. Don’t like the love triangle, feel like it’s useless lol Cain doesn’t have to be there, he’s just there.

Yeah I think the author is definitely capable of doing something better than this. I do like Yahwi, he is just more interesting to me even if he is problematic. I just hate that the sole supernatural element is Cain being reincarnated. TBH I never finished A Guy Like You, it started strong but I dnfed it halfway through.

Seems like I'm of a different opinion. I loved Seunghee and Seohyuk's story, it's a lot sweeter to me, less violent lmao. Seohyulk is such a good guy and I really related to Seunghee a lot more. Yes he can be mean and bratty but I really understood why he was like that and he learns his lesson. He just wants love and that gives a lot of meaning to me. Everyone deserves love and affection, even those who make mistakes. I wasn't a big fan of Kyubin and Seungtaek. This is one of my favourite BL's but on a second read I skipped most of Kyubin/Seungtaek's story.
I feel the same way mate..I actually skipped all of seungtaek & kyubins part idk y their story is really boring for me, n while skimming I also saw some violent scenes...I adore seolhyuk..he is so underrated
