I tried to give this manhwa a chance, hoping for a solid change, but the novel goes down a much darker path than I expected. The level of graphic violence and abuse like gangbang becomes overwhelming and feels excessive. By the end, the character dynamics are just toxic—Jiwook loses all and Juyeon becomes completely unhinged. They both end up being pretty irredeemable characters.
