Yk what, im caught up to the recent chapters and honestly the ex-husband isn't even all that bad. We've literally seen far worse in other stories but for some reason they still get the girl.

Reading the novel makes the story SOOOOO MUCH BETTER. There's alot more internal monologue that is being left out in the manhwa which really amplifies how reactive they are. They aren't a "omg ily bc of this moment that solidified my love for you" duo, its a slow small moments matter and ill take your feelings into consideration kind of couple. And especially in this chapter you really can't see how much of a pos Xinlu was being and how Yuri really didnt like the whole scenario. Idk i just think more was said in novel which makes it harder to draw in the manhwa. Yuri especially since he's so stoic outwardly but feels so much emotionally.
