I was concerned it was just me, but after reading other peoples opinions, what is going with the recent developments?? I remember liking this before the current updates but now I can't get past how everyone is SO ANNOYING and how literally everyone is downbad for FMC. She's not even interesting at this point, just oblivious and obsessed with business. GDRUBRT (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I think us getting older and being exposed to quality plots, FLs and MLs is also to blame.
I've gone back to reread some older stories I enjoyed when younger and it has been truly disappointing and alarming, the amount of crappy stories and characters that are pushed as romance and ideal or strong fl/mls is outstanding.
It's even worse when you have mangas/manhwas that have been ongoing for years (looking at you Skip Beat!!!) and you realize how little character and story development there has been. We've outgrown some of these stories, and realize how bland and empty they were.
It didn’t make me want to quickly finish just to see the ending which is how I usually feel about these mangas nor did I want more once I reached the ending. Pretty perfect balance, this was interesting!
