I desperately want to read a yaoi with a friends-to-lovers plot! I need a SLOW burn; I need to see their friendship SLOWLY build into something more. It'd be AWESOME if they didn't sleep together right away. I'd prefer they develop feelings first.

This isn't based on a novel, so it's difficult to tell. We are currently in the last arc allegedly, but this author sometimes takes break, and we don't know how long this arc is gonna be. So, who knows... Probably this year, but eh
I reread this because why the hell not, this always frustrated me but after powering through and FULLY reading it.
It's actually not terrible, I feel like it was really mature and it actually surprised me because I didn't expect this story to be what it is or for it to end how it did.
I think this gets excessive hate because people usually drop it before the ending. Although I feel like some would still hate the ending either way. If you have the time maybe give it a chance?

The chapters are extremely short dw. U can read over 200 chapters in one day. Its enjoyable too so give it a try
It's a great story. Wonderful characters, heartwrenching at times, hilarious at others. Lags a little in the recent chapters, but they are cute so you won't mind it that much
