This take is emotionally stunted imo. Cheating is a choice, nobody forced the guy to cheat. The least he could’ve done was thug it out till he got his green card.
You can’t disrespect someone and the boundaries you both agreed to, then expect that same person to consider you in their reaction to your actions.

What helps me is calling my friends in my home country as often as I can, but I try not to put everything on them. I also picked up hobbies like crocheting, sewing, drawing, and I love painting and sculpting. I go on walks with uplifting music, go to the gym, and try to eat better.
