This had potential it really did. It also properly showed why Haesoo held onto Mincheol for so long despite her suffering. It was very Wattpady but I liked it cause we were shown the depth of the characters. But lately it feels like almost every chapter is a filler chapter, everything is dragged out and the story doesn't have much progress.
We were also introduced so characters who had the potential in helping the stot develop but after a single chapter they're gone even when before being revealed the author was "hyping" them up (e.g. giving the dramatic panels complete with the size and lighting) then after their intro to the story are gone just like that. As if they were never introduced in the first place.
Where is that wealthy young lady that was introduced to Taeha but hates him, and ends up talking to Jay instead? I thought she actually had some chemistry with Jay. Wasted potential tbh. I know Jay is a side character but it couldn't hurt giving him more scenes since he is involved in the story and everything is just being dragged out at this point. There are other characters as well who just vanished after some sort of hyped up introduction.
Before I was very excited everytime a new chapter would come up but now I'm not.
Don't come after me. I'm not hating. Just giving commentary, that's all.
Mincheol's pov when they were in highschool was so good too. We were starting to understand what happened and we got to see the contrast between the Mincheol before and now. Like we understood why Haesoo loved him so much. Then the story would juxtapose to the present then so many things were happening then it would get cut off without being addressed and another event would start. Idk it's all over the place, as if the author doesn't have a clear view or plan of what they will put in the next chapter. That's what it feels like. I used to really like this I'm just sticking cause I've already invested time in it.

I'll put this here again. No one's defending or justifying Mincheol. Back stories are necessary for characters to flesh them out. I'm actually grateful for a back story since the past chapters where incessantly being dragged out with not much story progression. At least now things are progressing since we are given an explanation as to what happened between Mincheol and Heasoo-- it's literally why we have the main couple rn, because the relationship between Haesoo and Mincheol was in tatters at the start of he story, it's a major plot point so we need a backstory.
