i wanna be spoiled. please be honest
is he really strong? i mean i get that he cant use his magic cuz of his broken or dirty lungs but right now ive only read up to ch37 he seems so physically weak honestly. all he does is rely on yeonsung or the bald headed A rank hunter and the chang guy too. he isnt really making any progress with his magic at all in my pov. Please spoil me
SPOILERS
He was an archmage. Heck, his original planet Alpha Uri was running because of him. He couldn't be his own person due to the restrictions put on him so his alien senior (who is now Kang Changho btw and similarly depowered as him so he never realized that the MC was his junior) taught him the spell to transfer his soul. The alien creatures who built the system also were the remnants of the alien race he massacred lol. They nearly went extinct and came running to earth to replenish and "eat".
It's a very slow burn lol. He does get the lungs eventually and become a real powerhouse but for now he's just pretending lol.
SPOILERS
Anyways it was kind of discovered in the end that the alien race behind earth's peril was in fact Alpha Uri AFTER MC and Kang Changho left it.
Ending has no romance but considering that MC and Kang Changho now live together (in different bodies because their S-rank bodies were considered "dead"), raising a kid (reincarnation of the orig soul of the body that MC is now inhabiting), and is asking Kang Changho for allowance to run the household, I'd say it's a romantic ending enough. It's probably not tagged as BL because they're aliens LOL!
SPOILERS
I also wants to expand on the fact that both MC and Kang Changho doesn't see humans the same way we see each other, so MC never gets together with one of the girls if you're into straight ships.
It's also why Kang Changho has such an asshole behavior initially, because he never thought humans and Alphaurians are on the same level. He does respect them eventually, but there's still an inherent difference of species and culture.
MC does in fact confront Seo Esther (girl with red hair) about her feelings, which lets her move on.
MC still nags Yeon Seonwoo (the girl with black hair) to get married like how moms nag their daughters constantly to marry so she's pressured into dating.
Haseung (1st rank, man with black hair) is now working in a thermal power plant (what a good use for his powers lmao!) and he's still mourning MC's "death" because MC didn't let anyone know (aside from Yeon Seonwoo as usual) that he was alive.
There's a lot of subtle hints actually! Like that one time on Chapter 28 (manhwa) when Changho gives Kiryeo a potion after he got hospitalized and Kiryeo was like "Giving potions when sick is common in my world too".
Yep, they had to abandon their former bodies during the final battle and the entire world (except Yeon Seonwoo) now think they died.
They usually pick bodies of the dying/dead to possess. From what I remember, Kang Changho's current body is his second body (or I think he's had more bodies before) so it's not his first rodeo. He arrived decades earlier than Kiryeo on earth since he was the one who made the spell to isekai themselves. Kiryeo really looked up to his Engineer senior because he was a genius. Changho forgot about most of the spells during the transfer however so that's why I said that he was depowered. He had to manually use hunter powers like the local earthlings which annoys him immensely. Kiryeo can remember the spells, but his power is gone, so he's searching for good ass lungs.
Anyways, the OG!Kim Kiryeo has reincarnated and become their kid so the poor dude now has a happier life compared to before when he died broke, starving, in pain and alone, so it's a happy ending!
YALLL IM SQUEALINGGG I CANT WITH THIS COUPLE They are soo cute togetherrr. I really cant wait to see this family be together for real.
