This story pisses me of sm. Like why did she not trust the dressmaker but doesn't question edward at all??? Why does she let herself be used by all these people when she could so easily have just upped with her money the moment she got tangled up with this guy?????? The tennis sideplot wouldnt even bother me that much if it wasnt so flat and didnt bring anything at all to the story. It literally is only used as an attempt to divert the typical divorce plot and does absolutely nothing for the world building or character development. It started so well with the qhole divorce ending satisfyingly quickly but it keeps dragging her back tk the drama and watering her down bcus without her the plot wouldnt move.

Well unfortunately for you, in earlier chapters when they were introducing different species and the focus of those species in life, they said that the beastfolks focus in life is propagation of their bloodline/species. That's the primary goal of the beastfolk. That's why she's sad about not having a child coz that's their species ultimate goal.
