Yeah I just searched it up. they do not have black tips unlike other weasels, because their tails are short and doesn't need the black tip for it use (distracting other predators). they're so smol

i also looked it up and I think he is an ermine and not an least weasel, those have the black tip. It's either an translation mistake or that the autor just dind't do a profound research (if you Google least weasel on the most pictures you see photos of ermines with the black tip)
