with AI rapidly increasing, do you believe it'll take over the comic industry? would you read a manga/hwa/hua made by an AI?
personally, I wouldn't, as an artist. my dream is to make a comic and get it out there, and it's saddening seeing some lifeless computer spew out art that takes humans years to master. Anyway, that's my view!! what's your view on AI?
Yup, major in animation. I mean, in terms of AI, it may become an essential component in animation and webtoon production, or it may normalize in the future, similar to cameras. Before, cameras were stigmatized, and many said that they were soulless and that paintings were superior, yet look where we are now. Life is about adaptability.
Anyway, I've read this article a few months ago, and it talked about how artist can prevent AI copying their art https://www.technologyreview.com/2023/10/23/1082189/data-poisoning-artists-fight-generative-ai/
yea this, i'm okay with!! it's just a new tool. it's AI's intended use tbh. my problem is when people begin to use AI as a finished product, (don't pay the artists) and call it a day ajdhfjskdh
it would be amazing if AI could be used that way! i'm just worried because even now, people are beginning to turn to AI instead of commissioning a hard working human artist. anyway, as long as it doesn't become the face of art i'll remain... relatively sane
I was just reading a manhwa where the female lead got a heart transplant from the ML’s father. She drops off lollipops everyday for the ML and she saw the ML’s father in a dream... I forgot the title tho. Anyone know it?
It’s “ a loving existence”
