He shouldn't have done that, even if 200 years passed, his brother is still immature, so he should still pay attention to him (even if it's just a little)
I know his brother is doing bad things but still..
Maybe he isn't used to be "without" his brother and maybe the brother is the only family he has left.
He just feels lonely and loves his brother. They just need to talk about their feelings so everything could be solved peacefully.

Though I understand maybe he is lonely never having to share his brother with anyone else, maybe without doing useless things like trying to chase the wolf away he should just tell his brother. And even as a slow aging vampire 200 years is enough time to learn to act maturely. A 2 year old wolf pup acts more mature than that ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Its because he received too much love and attention without knowing the true value of it that made him into a spoiled brat. 200 years is a lot even for vampire, he should have grown up 100 years ago already... If Im his brother I will tell him to learn to be grateful with what other gives him, stop focus too much on what he wants and think about what others want too.
