I checked the original Chinese platform, and it’s currently up to Chapter 14, plus SO many bonus chapters, side stories, and extras like the Summer Special, Fitness Challenge, Circus, Christmas Edition, Beach AU, etc. None of these have been fan-translated or officially released in English yet, I guess? guys! I just want to share this info here ^^ I went to read the series finale review and guess what?! There were actually two proposals for the series! The 1st one was “A story that begins when a man takes his nephew to daycare and falls in love at first sight with his nephew’s friend’s father.” #younger_top — 191 cm / 23 years old & #divorced_bottom — 184 cm / 35 years old MIND YOU!!! THE BOTTOM IS SO FINEEEE

And the 2nd one was basically the current storyline — old rivals → confessing on graduation day → unresolved confession → reunion after 7 years. So the author-nim gave the producer these two proposals and asked, “Which one do you think would be more fun?” And the PD replied, “They’re both interesting, so why don’t we combine the two and do both?!” And that’s how the mixed-up/combined story of 〈짝사랑 필승법〉 came to be!!!

For the main couple’s character designs, they decided to use the characters from Proposal 2, Shin Seoyoon × Kang Hyunwoo. So I was kinda sad that we didn’t get to see that younger top × older bottom pair for now But the author-nim said she really liked the characters from Proposal 1 too, and hopes that someday she’ll get the chance to show them to us… SO FINGERS CROSSED!!!
