Seems the end is near. Ending is a bit rushed if so but nonetheless I enjoyed this story
yea I think the author was lowkey tired of the slow burn and was just like ‘wrap it up, I wanna get to the sex filled side stories and revisit that one college au’

This entire story was a waste of time. Genuinely. This story could have been a GREAT toxic x toxic trope where they each go through the motions of there angst and misery, either genuine true character development that could have been beautiful. Instead, the author drops the ball HARD, continue with a plot that very girly started to not make any lick of sense and rush a plot that needed just as much development and time as pearl Boy. That’, and subtly add their weird incest fetish in the middle of it lmao with dubious amounts of sexual assault and rape they clearly get off too that served NO POINT in the story. Shit genuinely happened just to happened no emotional payoff no complicated plot point as to WHY shit happened just a lot of “and then this happened … which leads to this… and let’s add a bit of that and never explain why tf I did itl.”this story was like a visual representation of a 13 year olds problematic wattpad story they didn’t bother proof reading at all. Don’t think I’ll be picking up another work by then again.
and another thing I’d like to add is the awful art style change midway through the damn story. Genuinely what happened? You compare the same faces we saw in Pearl boy or even the very beginning of this story and they don’t look nearly the same as they once did. And can we talk about how the entire time I was genuinely waiting for something MORE. Thinking there had to be SOME KIND of payoff to this bullshit story and then it ends with NOTHINHG.
