My theory is that Mo already knows he is attracted to men and that he's known for a while, but he can't admit it to himself and he hates himself for it. So when He Tian kissed him he reacted badly and told him that he was disgusting because he really wants to believe that, he doesn't want to accept that it's alright to be attracted to another guy. Also, i think that's why he is so resistant towards He Tian.

This manga actually saddens me a lot, because their relationship is so realistic. Shun's obvious depression and him being stressed out constantly because of work, and Mio who can't help him and is lonely and forced to spend less time with Shun because of his stress and work problems.
When you compare this to the beginning of their relationship it's so obvious how the time they spend together has decreased and become less enjoyable, their life has turned into a toxic routine, they are not intimate with each other and when they are it seems like they are forcing themselves, they have been living together for 5 years and in those 5 years they have steadily slid into this mundane life, Shun's problems are getting worse and Mio spends his days doing what he does every single day, stuck in an unhealthy routine, because he is unable to connect with his boyfriend, and they've lost the connection they used to have. They will likely go on living the same life as they have been for the past 5 years slowly drifting apart like most couples in reality do.

This is no hate at the manga or the author, might even take it as a compliment for depicting the reality of a relationship so well.

Sometimes i want to read a certain chapter or go through some important moments where there was some romantic development instead of the usual comical chapters, but it's really hard to find them because there is 300 chapters. So i decided to make a list.

Ch. 97 - Jian Yi holds Zhan ZhengXi's hand while he is asleep and remembers a scene from their childhood where Zhan ZhengXi was holding his hand and telling him to hold tight.
Ch. 112&113 - Zhan ZhengXi takes Jian Yi mountain climbing for his birthdays and there is a touching moment when they reach the top.
Ch. 126&127- Mo attacks Jian Yi, but Zhan XiXi protects him and gets hit in the head with a stone.
Ch. 128&129 - Zhan XiXi is at the hospital; he calls Jian Yi and tells him he wants to see him while Jian Yi is crying. Jian Yi goes to the hospital and hugs Zhan Xixi saying 'just once'.
Ch. 140&141 - Jian Yi kisses Zhan XiXi, then he gets punched and runs away after saying 'it's a joke, what do you care'. Zhan XiXi runs after him.
Ch. 142&143 - Zhan XiXi runs after Jian Yi in the rain. He asks him if he likes men and Jian Yi breaks down, and asks Zhan XiXi to pretend it was only a joke. Zhan XiXi hugs him. (without argue the most emotional few chapters of the manhua.)
Ch. 153 - ZhanXiXi tells Jian Yi his head is a mess since what happened and asks him to tell him what he is thinking. Jian Yi tells him that it's all because of him, and they both get embarrassed.
Ch. 164 – ZhanXiXi takes drunk Jian Yi home and tries to leave him on his bed but he ends up falling on top of him. Jian Yi asks him if he is abnormal and starts crying; ZhanXiXi replies that he is not and hugs him.
Ch. 165 – Jian Yi gives ZhanXiXi a hickey, but ZhanXiXi pushes him away and Jian Yi tells him that he should go back.
Ch. 169 – ZhanXiXi tells Jian Yi that he wants to become stronger so that he can protect him, and he holds his hand.
Ch. 174&175 – He Tian kisses Mo, but Mo starts crying and pushes him off. He Tian asks him if he disgusts him that much, and he says yes.
Ch. 185 – After He Tian fought with She Li to protect Mo, he shows up with his hand cut and Mo takes his jacket off to cover his wound, and there is sort of a hand hold.
Ch. 188 – He Tian walks Mo out and gives him his jacket; he tells him to not try and bear everything himself, and Mo gets kinda teary.
Ch. 192 – Jian Yi gets kidnapped, and there is a few serious chapters after this while they rescue him. ZhanXiXi comments that he wants to see him and after being rescued Jian Yi also says that he wants to see ZhanXiXi.
Ch. 198 – Reunion after Jian Yi is rescued. ZhanXiXi tells him that if there comes a time he doesn’t come back he won’t forgive him while they hold each other, sort of.
Ch. 202 – While playing basketball, He Tian falls on top of Mo and he lays his head on his shoulder asking him to stay like that for a moment, and he says ‘just a moment would be fine’.
Ch. 207, 208&209 – ZhanXiXi asks Jian Yi if he likes him. THE CONFESSION. And afterwards ZhanXiXi kisses Jian Yi on the forehand.
Ch. 2017& – He Tian takes Mo to a restaurant where Mo’s dad was attacked. Mo rushes out feeling sick and he calls He Tian’s name before he throws up. He Tian replies ‘I’m here’ and takes him back to his place.
Ch. 228 – He Tian has a nightmare in which he remembers how his brother buried the puppy he saved. He calls Mo in the middle of the night and after Mo yells at him and hangs up, he thinks to himself ‘good, he is still there’. (btw he didn’t actually bury the puppy, the dog appeared in one of the recent chapters and He Tian’s brother was still taking care of the dog).
Ch. 236&237 – He Tian pretends to be unconscious so Mo drags him to bed and ends up on top of him. Before he leaves he tells He Tian he wants double the pay for cleaning his house and He Tian brushes his head and tells him he will pay him ten times the price.
Ch. 242 – Mo gets into a fight with some guys who were talking badly about his mum. He Tian comes to save him. In Ch. 244 he starts throwing up blood, He Tian takes him to the hospital and pays for the hospital fees.
Ch. 254 – He Tian comes back after meeting with his father. He goes to Mo’s house and meets him outside. He places his head on his shoulder and tells him he is so tired. Mo lets him sleep over in ch. 255
Ch. 259&260 – He Tian has a nightmare, he starts screaming in his sleep and calling for help, so Mo holds his hand. When he wakes up he thanks Mo.
Ch. 268 – ZhanXiXi draws that beautiful drawing of him and Jian Yi holding hands under an umbrella(?) on the wall.

Every 50 or so chapters there is one or two chapters when something serious happens and there is some progress with the characters instead of the usual comical chapters. I feel like something should happen soon.

Does anyone know a good, elaborate and lengthy analysis of the whole story or the characters? Thanks.

I like that they are not romanticizing rape and abuse so far, Minho seems genuinely distressed about what happened and i would be really disappointed if he ended up with the guy who did that to him.

so, it was her first time seeing water but she thought it was a good idea to jump in and hope she somehow knew how to swim because why not, it's a manhwa, why bother learning how to swim
