it could be because he's with the seme during bed scenes and the seme is pale asf. Their colour contrast when put beside each other males the uke's tanned skin more visible. That's what I'm assuming though, I'm not sure
it’s probably just the art problem. it’s actually pretty hard to keep being consistent with the skintone.
i do think he is more tanner here though
