Dude the mc is highkey annoying. Yes, he’s self aware of his actions and reasoning of why he acts the way he does, but that doesn’t excuse his actions. Why are you blaming the ML (jei) for basically everything in the relationship just because he didn’t notice your feelings for 15 years? Dude thought he was straight during those years, of course he wouldn’t consider you as a possible love interest during that time, so why are you blaming it on him and making it like he’s the problem?
I really want to like the story. I like the concept and the ML a lot but the mc is lowkey insufferable solely because he’s genuinely realistic and a well written complex character, but it’s just too realistic so he comes off as annoying. I can acknowledge that he’s a great character and still dislike him at the same time. Still tho, 9/10 story and the art is just fantastic. The smut scenes aren’t doing too much but at the same time really hot
