Re-reading back some of the translated novel of this webtoon, it was pretty sad that they didn't add some moments where Etoire boldly ask the duke to be her lover which surprises Ripley and decided that they might as well go with it lol. And the duke made refusal twice. And instead of hand hovering on her shoulder, it was actually around Etoire's waist.
Reading the novel doesn't make you think Ripley is a hopeless case that suffered from stupidity. Her monologue was silly and endearing to read. I highly recommend to read the novel instead, although there were a quite a few chapters untranslated, and translation can be very iffy.

The novel didn't get translated fully, but it's enough that you understand the events that's going to happen. Translation can still be understood somewhat, enough for someone to roughly make character/plot analysis.

I need the link to the novel. This is actually better and has more depth than the other isekai'd villainess that I've read lol. It's somehow more serious, and I like how she's mentally prepared for her own eventual death and thinks that she'll probably become a bad queen despite already changing the fates of others.

Ripley WILL get things done... Some might say her attitude is getting annoying and she should prioritize something above the other, but she's the kind of person who's just really committed once she's decided on something(and that is business with Etoire and marriage with the duke). Of course without realising that she's bad at multitasking lmao.
Besides the duke isn't THAT angry, nor THAT disappointed in Ripley's divided effort.
I can't really see why people get frustrated lol.
