Hugo, Aeroc’s butler/godfather sees Raphael who is splitting image of his young master and reveals the truth

It's not that hard when the timing between raphiel's death & raphiel jr's birth were not match. Raphiel died way before the son was born. Beside, raphiel jr also came across aeroc when he was a kid.. or maybe he met with hugo the butler. Hugo will automatically recognised raphiel since he's a carbon copy of aeroc.. whatever it is, I love that the son knew the truth about his mother..

Some people already explained what's happening next, in the comment section. But I will try to explain to you what's happening in the raw from what I remember reading from these people.
Spoiler alert ! If you don't want to be spoiled please don't read furthermore.






In the raw, Taekyung always doubted about the suicide of the mother of the Seme. Taekyung thought she was murdered and if I remember correctly he was already suspicious of his own mother (adoptive mother).
Heeso understand the truth by his aunt. In the other hand, Taekyung have now all the knots tied and understand the truth. Taekyung returns home to confront his mother... in the end she admits the truth to Taekyung but she also reveals that she has cancer so she doesn't have much time to live on.
Taekyung choose to take the side of his adoptive mother but when he returns home Heeso confronts Taekyung because now both knows the truth. Heeso is ready to forgive everything if it means to stay by Taekyung's side but Taekyung tells Heeso to move out from his house.
He doesn't want to continue their relationship so he cut off his ties with Heeso. Heeso can't bear being away from Taekyung thus threaten Taekyung with suicide. Heeso, desperate, bet his life on the line as the last argument for staying by Taekyung side as his hands are already holding a knife under his chin.

But Taekyung remains indifferent which hurts Heeso. Heeso stabbed Taekyung on the back when Taekyung tried to leave the house.
In the last chapter of season 1 we can see a gap of 7 years. The adoptive mother of Taekyung beats cancer and she is now participating in a election for, I don't remember what, but it seems important. Heeso whereabouts are still unknown even after the seven years but we can guess his figure on the back holding an umbrella as Taekyung is leaving from a car.

I hope the explanation is not too difficult to understand... English is not my first language so if you have any questions feel free to ask me. Remember that what I wrote above is not 100% accurate because it's from what I remember reading from other people in the comment section.

And I'm really glad you did it correctly..some ppl don't write spoilers and just spoils it..some write spoilers and don't skip lines to hide it...smh. so mad. I actually dropped this series for awhile before coming back to it cuz I was so livid. And so far, after dropping it for awhile we still haven't even got to the spoiler YET.

The explanation sounds good. it still doesn't give the motive for the killing though. So did TaeKyung kick out HeeSoo while he cares for deeply??? That's SOOoo out of character for him. Also, when he kicked him out did he at least give him money to live??? Or what's going on??? I'm so confused. And what was the motive for killing HeeSoo's mom??? And WHY did TaeKyung side with his adoptive mother?!? I thought he held high regards for HeeSoo's mom?!? Did ALL that work to protect and raise HeeSoo with his own money, JUST to abandon him?!?

But the motive is simple. Taekyung always feel wrong about this relationship. And his adoptive mother warnings about “It will be good if Love alone can change the person” doesn’t help despite him caring for Heesoo. The thing is Taekyung never understands what Heesoo is thinking like the viewers did. In final scene, Taekyung said if Heesoo wants compensation for what happened to his mother, he would give all his possessions including money. But Heesoo doesn’t want the money and he started to loose it and say I only need u , who care about what happened 10 years ago and so on. And it’s not said in normal calm way (but more in a way of someone who is not mentally stable way) so Taekyung felt very heavy about Heesoo relying on him in an obsessive way so for the best for both of them he tries to leave (not a good decision but yeah if someone is in his shoes it might be scary or heavy at least if someone is dependent on u emotionally to the point of he doesn’t care about anything including his mother’s murder case.

I totally understand TaeYung's perspective. But the thing is....it doesn't make sense since ALL OF THIS TIME HE HAD BEEN INDULGING HEESOO. JUST TK TURN AROUND AND ABANDON HIM. TO ME THATS JUST A HUGE BLOW.

I DON'T KNOW THE DETAILS FOR HEESOO'S MOM'S DEATH BUT WHY DID TAEKYUNG'S MOM KILL HEESOO'S MOM?!? AND TAEKYUNG VERY WELL KNOWS THE BOY DOESN'T WANT HIS MONEY ALREADY, FROM THE GET GO. GIVING HIM MONEY WASNT GONNA SOLVE ANYTHING....

EITHER WAY IT WAS GONNA END IN CATASTROPHY.

I don’t know what motive u were asking about but it totally makes sense to me lol. Just as normal couples broke up for what relatively considered small things. People got abandoned and broke up for minor things in real life as well. Imagine your adoptive mom killed your lover’s mother and the thing is send your mother who has cancer to prison or choose your lover and still beside him with guilt.

The whole time Taekyung was taking care of Heesoo had always been out of guilt and the warmness his teacher gave him when he was young. So his motivation were never about Heesoo, it’s clear that it was out of guilt and feeling sorry. As I mentioned earlier, their relationship is always one-sided emotional dependency from Heesoo side, and in reality too being with someone who randomly throw tantrums and entirely emotionally dependent on you is not romantic but rather a burden (and that’s enough for him to leave him)

What was the motive for for TaeKyung's mom to kill Heesoo's mom?!? Wtf isn't she in jail?!? I get that TaeKyung feels indebted to HeeSoo's mom but why did he side with his adoptive mom?!? I don't agree with being with HeeSoo but why did he choose his adoptive mom?!? He had SOME affection for the boy. Idk why he completely abandoned him after they had BOTH found out the truth?!? I know their relationship ISN'T HEALTHY but what makes him decide to side with his mom?!? I know she had terminal cancer but .... That's her notice is STILL not CLEAR. And HeeSoo is a sick fuck but... TaeKyung's not being there for him was the fucking final blow. - now after typing all of this I finally understood why he had snapped. No one is by his side anymore...

Irl, having cancer DOES NOT EXCUSE one's actions. I honestly don't agree with his decision. That's why I need to know the reason why she committed murder. ALSO, for a person to hide a murderer they can be sentenced as well, and he is a PROSECUTOR on TOP of that. Apparently he has no ethics. I know HeeSoo isn't perfect, but apparently neither is TaeKyung. Did he think that finding out that HeeSoo's mother didn't kill herself and finding her killer was gonna do her and HeeSoo justice??? The IRONY is that once he's found the killer, he had DECIDED to SIDE with the KILLER instead. Which made the situation WORSE. If you were in HeeSoo's shoes, wouldn't you have felt betrayed?!? A regular person would already have seen his actions as being immoral. They weren't lovers, but regardless....and I understand that he was ONLY helping HeeSoo out of the goodness of his heart, and HADN'T wanted to be PERSONALLY be involved in his life, but the moment he had chosen to keep rescuing him over and over and to FINALLY ABANDON him anyways....he really in reality should have sought help for HeeSoo. He invalidated HeeSoo's self by having sex with him but NEVER acknowledging him at all. They had a VERY very secretive relationship. Which was super super unhealthy. There was no love. Only the illusion of love. Or substitute for the nurture and care that HeeSoo had lacked. It was super duper unhealthy.

What TaeKyung's mom didn't know is that their relationship wasn't about love at all. Just manipulation and assuaging of fears. HeeSoo never got the confirmation he had wanted. And when he thought he had FINALLY found peace, TaeKyung went and abandoned him. Not only that. He had SIDED with the murderer. He grilled every possible suspect, tried to find all the evidence he could find. But when it hit close to home, he chickened out and gave in to his adoptive mom. He had a good healthy upbringing so maybe he feels more indebted to her. But his actions were deplorable and AMORAL ASF.

The ONLY time one can be exculpated is when they have been PROVEN to be insane. Then they get thrown in a mental institution (or some kind of correctional facility, and is watched over and is medicated. Other health factors don't excuse you worth shit. I don't mean to get angry at you.

I'm just angry if that were the excuse for one's actions, should it be NOT an act of self-defense. Oh yes, that's the OTHER REASON. SELF-DEFENSE. ALSO, NEEDS TO BE PROVEN.

The plot is left cliffhanger…this story never emphasizes on Romance. I think u should just wait for S2 so that we could no more about the underlying mystery of HeeSoo’s mom death. She isn’t in jail because there’s no strong evidence to send her to jail, everything is already destroyed. I think you are just relying on motive why based on the raws people have been saying spoilers. U should just wait for the new episodes as why he chose his mom is revealed in those. Everything you are asking for is in chapter 47-50. Unlike Heesoo, the foster family of Taekyung is nice to him. They adopted him and treated him well..and you can see them in flashback. That’s the only family he had at the end of the day

Damn this is just a story chill…lol…no one is perfect. Even we human beings are far from perfect. That’s how you write a good story. Why are you trying to find who is perfect and innocent in these kind of stories with murder mystery theme. None of the protagonists we are following in this story nor the side characters even HeeSoo’s mom is not perfect despite her being killed. I think u should just enjoy what the author put out instead of trying to find a white moonlight character in here. I’m just here for these kind of morally grey characters and story has two more seasons to go on. Despite the fact that Taekyung’s mom killed Heesoo’s mom, we haven’t followed those characters’ past or the murder HeeSoo’s mom commit either. The mystery if that case is still ongoing…

Ah. I see. No I figured that. But still. It's hard to fathom...standing up for a criminal. Anyways. Yes. I get it. And yes. I understand this story wasn't about romantic love. I see all that. I'm just aging what I said because A LOT of ppl say it is (romantic love) when it is notm it's just purely obsession and a love based on the desire for the love be never had. I see all of that.

Oh yeah that's right. I forgot about HeeSoo's mom. Yes. I agree. I'm just saying that I thought TaeKyung was a victim just because he fell prey. I didn't know there's 3 more seasons??? And we are NOT even done with season 1?!? How do you know all this??? What is a moonlight character?!? I've heard it before but don't remember. I know no one is perfect, that's why I thought TaeKyung was innocent and was prey by Chance...but a LOT of it has led up to this. So that makes sense. Honestly, if I didn't see the first ch. I can handle it, but the 1st chapter just traumatizes me and I cannot help but think of it EVERY SINGLE chapter.!!! Every step of the way. Question is. Who did HeeSoo's mom killed?mm and why?!? How do you have all the spoilers??? I wished ppl hadn't spoiled....so rude of them.

Yes, the artist said on interview that she loves watching crime thrillers so we can definitely see this story is based on mysterious crime undergoing. But I love reading this story so far..because it doesn’t focus solely on romance but somehow writing is good and we can see three dimensional characters and the art is so good.

Oh white moonlight character refers to someone who falls into stereotypical character in BL story who are innocent, victims with kind, loving characteristics and haven’t done anything wrong in their life kind of character. I knew this because I have read raws and I can read Korean to daily conversations level. The raws has already finished S1 chapter 50. So I know what happened in S1.

Agree 100% . I love the story. And the art is so immersive. You can SEE EXACTLY what the characters are going thru from their eyes. Beautiful and passionate.
