Contrary to the previous comments that are endlessly complaining its boring and whatnot (some felt like nitpicks but eh, can’t control what people wouldn’t be hyper fixated on)…
It’s not bad, subjectively. But it is average.
The plot had an interesting premise. But the execution, felt like the author focused more on the action than the plot, resulting the weird pacing. Key implications and lore drops are brushed very lightly, which is unfortunate. Aside from one incident, the stakes that were supposedly high did not feel as such. Also the complaints about the MCs choices were explained, though again, very lightly, like small-talk that you wouldn’t even notice a plothole was being explained unless its been stuck on your mind. As a whole it felt like the direction wanted it to be a action combat manhwa trying to weave a story (action first, story second).
My only complaint is why some action sequences felt like a 1990’s anime with weird long dialogues mid fight.
Overall 3.5 out of 5. Will continue reading, but will not reread again.
Guess I'm one of the ones not being green minded enough to see the "romantic" vibes people are saying about Marian and Theo? It felt like brother-bigsis vibes. And I've read romance (and all kinds of) books from non-fiction novels to these manhwas for the past 20 years...
Also if I recall correctly the white roses don't necessarily mean romance in flower language?
I don't care much about age gap as long as it's:
- both are consenting adults
- even if they met when one was a baby, the one that showed initial interest is the younger one (I'm not slut shaming people who's into D/MILFS)
If your moral compass is striking you hard, the exit button is on the top right of your tab for your benefit, have a nice day.
For me however, if the younger person was a legal, emotionally mature adult, and they chose to pursue the relationship, then the moral issue is diminished, especially since they likely weren’t manipulated.
But that's a lot to say for chapter 1, who knows.

Like driving 40kph in a 100kph road type of slow...
The prologue is a good hook, though cliche.
First few chapters were great for ramping up...
95 chapters in and we're still ramping up... actually no, it's a stable 40.
Guess this will be one of the other manhwa's that'd either "Finish season something, see ya in 2 years", "Manhwa dropped, no info from artist or production company, continuation not clarified", or "We'll push through until 400 chapters" type of deal...
I don't have qualms usually with slowburns if audience hype is high. But at the same time, I've already had to deal with a lot of manhwas dropped at 100 or 150 that either got an official notice or was left in the air by the uploader. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I'll shelve this for now I guess and probably take a peek after a year.
