It will CONTAIN VIOLENCE its just it depends on the author how they'll show it, not every psychological Genre has to be shown the same lol. At the beginning of the story it LITERALLY gives you a WARNING that it will be fucked up so why are you so mad as if it the whole abuse and everything was a suprise?? You could just not read it yk.
