Wasn't it CRAZY how Nitta Youka lost the ability to draw just after volume 5 of Haru wo Daite Ita Alive? Like it just happened one day, she had to be hospitalized and everything. Now all her works are on permanent hiatus.
The editor also said it was because of work and stress, like she was going mad about the ending of Haru and wanted to kill the MC wtf? Apparently she had even a sequel about AI and space or something like, wasn't this about actors?
I'm glad we at least got the hiatus instead of a weird ass ending the mangaka thought would be more sentimental instead of the happy ending they deserved for more than 17 volumes.
Damn I have chills! Sometimes I think these mangaka are getting cursed. Ai Yazawa also got "sick" around when they killed off a main character too. I know I internally hated her for it. This mangaka was no different. (No I was not actually wishing ill on them but the energy was there.)

Since the first time I saw Phos breaking and accepting parts of others so easily I knew this was going to be a trascendental ride.
The ending was everything I could have ever asked for, but more than anything I'm glad sensei finished it the way she wanted.
Every battle, every loss, every betrayal, every shimmer of victory, I still remember every single story and personality of all the gems; And as much as I wanted a story where everyone just lived happily together at the school, this is not a shounen or shoujo and we can not expect an infinite battle-bonding-battle sequence.
Not gonna lie, there are things I wanted to see (I think we all wanted more gems shenanigans and drama), yet not once did I feel dissatisfied with a chapter.
Sensei's style is something that captivates in one chapter and in all these years it got more and more detailed and beautiful, each panel was a delight.
It was truly a magnificent story
Ichikawa Haruko-sensei, you are the most lustrous.
Sensei... oh sensei are we going with this one? The socially inadept ones? I knew it and I absolutely love it but I bet this one is gonna take a whiiiile to finish cooking... Also, I bet he's never gonna eat that cookie.
Oh c'mon we knew. Since the first time they mentioned the long hair problem we saw it coming
... Now what I wanna see coming is that bundle of hair in an even messier mess... in action... in movement... if Hinohara-sensei would bless us with it...
I still remember that first episode of the anime so sooo many years ago like it was yesterday...
It's been so long and we finally got our happy ending. We'd have had a more dramatic ending, but after all this time I believe we all got tired (sensei included) of weeks filled in chaos and battle, I think we just needed some peaceful happiness in our lives to finish this story.
Let's say thank you to sensei for keeping up and never leaving behind our god in a tracksuit!
And for all of us YatoHiyo shippers out there, remember: Even if he cut their ties, they're still engraved as a couple in heaven's eternal wall of marriages!
Ps. This will not happen but can we please get the next season of the anime some time soon...? maybe in this life?

It was during the Kamuhakari. And while Kofuku was the one who tied them together, afterwards nobody cut the bond so... They're still tied by the red string of fate. Things escalated quickly after that so it's understandable that everyone forgot about it but... it's still tied... up there... on the gods wall
