I agree with you. I mean you know the definition of sexism and gotta admit it has it but it's kinda true. Most women aren't as strong as men. An she was kinda treating Shibata like she could protect him from everything or could be seen like she was treating him like he was weak which probably wasn't but yeah. The context of the explanation is really sexist, it's true that women hasn't the same phisical strenght but in this case it was about mental strenght in an emergency so since the first time i read this manga i thought that what Iichan says sound ridiculous but well japanese society is sexist.
