I want both Haesoo and Mincheol to have a good ending. I feel like they both have sacrifice so much for each other. they both trauma bonded at a young age that they felt the need to carry on together even thou they weren't compatible or good for each other. Unfortunately NHS needed some one who can lead her and who is steadfast which KMC isn't. While KMC is needed someone who can provide for him and make him be a make wife. He will never admit it thou but like every other man in the world, they always go for the type that makes them feel like a man for validation.
Both have sacrifice so much for each other that they don't even realize that somethings that is not what is needed.
looool unpopular indeed and i get the sympathy bc he did make some sacrifices but if mincheol even had an ounce of respect for haesoo, he would've just broken up with her and told her the truth. but no, he made her suffer, made her feel bad about her appearance, cheated on her, slept with the mistress in the same house they live in, made her look like she's a bitter clingy ex-wife in front of his mistress, gaslighted her, and even blamed her for the shitty life he lived because of his sacrifices (which nobody asked him to do, he was once in love and willing to do everything for her).
which I agree with but they borh dug thay hole for themselves. he is a smart man and he had the chance to go to uni and have a good life but he sacrificed that to save her and ever since then she has been paying for and atoning for it.
that is why i want them both to live well and have a clean slate. their unfortune circumstances lead to where they are at now.
honestly this is a good manhwa, the story is good, especially seeing this trope of rich man poor woman in the version where the man is younger. the artwork as well is amazing, however the main downfall is the pacing, we need better pacing cause it feels like they are just dragging this out.
