As how I am seeing they are two possibilities the first Makoto and Hokuto being endgame and Waya ending with the boy that dislike him from the other school. My second inclination is that Makoto cannot fully forget waya and still wants to be with him while Hokuto also starts falling for waya and vice versa. This second volume give me a hint of that.
While I know the first option is the most probable the second cannot still be discard out.Hopefully they end up as a throuple.
