This is so sad but also so wild. Like almost everything that’s happening is such a tragedy but the unhingedness of it all makes it just wacky, love it.
This talk about euthanasia reminded me of this film called guzaarish. It’s about this former magician who’s now reached a point in his life where he feels like euthanasia is the only way out. After watching that my perspective really changed about it so I’ve become both against and for it. It’s such a complex topic, as is humanity by nature.

Okay I’ve just started reading this and wanted to put out my initial thoughts until chapter 5. Ngl I quite like the undereyebags guy so far, I mean there’s nothing inherently wrong with him and if he likes mc then of course he’d help him idk why mc calls it shallow when he’s the one keeping it purely transactional. Also ml is kinda interesting so far, no obvious red flags so far apart from, you know, him killing on command. He’s quite calculative but I just say that’s big brain thinking when territory, politics and war are up for discussion. He knows when to keep tact and be charming which, for someone coming over from reading the heart of the lotus, is refreshing as heck cuz for anyone who’s read that know, that ml is antisocial to the T
