"It's only natural to get upset when the person you like isn’t behaving how you want them to" O_O Taku's friend are good people, I actually do like them but some of their suggestions are just poorly worded. What he tried to say is that "It's normal to get upset / dissapointed / hurt when people don't treat you / feel about you the way you expected them to do so", The original version sounded ... Questionable.
Taku should have spoken with Kyuri, she is a baddie. She helped Joowon a lot and he was quite crazy with his interpretations of relationships, imagine.
... If Joowon was the one who said the stuff that Taku said in chapter 99, people wouldn't have doubt a second to point out how toxic and horrible he is but... Because it was Taku who said those things, it just realistic, rough and human. Look, Joowon have many chapters where he was just a bitch and you can find those moments in S1. I would never deny he was an asshole and ungrateful person in that season, so why can people just admit that since half of S2 Taku have been nothing but a selfish prick? With no character development by the way, because "falling in love" for the first time can only get you so far. It's the fact that Taku never stopped being selfish but yet, their fans get brave enough to talk about Joowon's character development and love for Haesoo. It's so funny to me, I'm not even mad. I do laugh when I read Taku's defenses. Anyways. You are my whole world, bro.ヾ(☆▽☆)
It's amazing how far the "Taku did nothing wrong / Taku didn't deserve this" campaign is willing to go. I don't hate Taku and I also think he deserves better, but ... Why is Haesoo being treated like he's going to a damn strip club and not the hospital? Why is that almost all the comments here are criticizing Haesoo but can't see that Taku didn't care about Joowon's safety to the point of being almost inhuman? Not that he needs to worry about Joowon because they obviously don't like each other, but Joowon is still someone who Haesoo cares deeply about and he is the one who Taku is "in love" with. Taku didn't even care about Haesoo's emotional health, all he could think of is that Haesoo was going to break up with him and that's worrisome. More worrisome is that people are calling Haesoo a "bitch" but not Taku. Yikes.
I'm not critizing Taku for reacting on impulse, who hasn't done that? Joowon and Haesoo has done this as well, especially Joowon... But it doesn't make Taku in the right here. The fact that his first reaction is to think about his break-up and not what Haesoo is probably going through speaks levels of him.
Idk about the "everyone would be selfish" part or that it was a "normal" reaction but I guess it's realistic to think that people could let their selfishness win over, even in those type of situations. Still, doesn't make it right. That's why I don't understand why there is more bashing towards Haesoo (who also let his feelings take over and rightly so, since he could have lost Joowon) than Taku, whose emotional breakdown was purely based on selfishness.
* Chapter 2 *
Joowon: Hey, your hyung is already here-!
Haesoo: Wait a second, we need to talk.
Joowon: About what?
Haesoo: About what happened 10 years ago. About you telling me not to fall in love with you because you won't fall for me.
Joowon: Again with that? Haesoo, I did it to protect us. They were going to separate us! But in the end, it didn't matter because you abandoned me!
Haesoo: I didn't abandon you! My mom told me to leave without telling you, I was watching you all night and I felt so sad about it!
Joowon: So you love me?
Haesoo: Yes! That's why I've been putting up with our vague relationship, even knowing that you don't love me.
Joowon: The relationship is vague because I'm afraid you'll leave me, but we can change it becuase I love you and now I know you didn't leave me on purpose.
Haesoo: Oh, cool.
