I believe it refers to a bottom in some yaoi. Tami also means cat and the seme got it confused w cat instead of bottom
uuuh i don't think it's supposed to be tami . . . if he was using gay terms to refer to a person's preference, he'd have used
neko (bottom; uke)
or
tachi (top; seme)
