I seriously wonder how are they gonna handle season 2 when they cut out most of the important plot….the next chapter is the continuation of chapter 41 but there will be a saddest news for Ieum and I wonder if they will cut it out again or deliver it…but since they cut the cause of it, how are they gonna deliver it? The manhwa has cut a lot of important plot out. This story’s main focus isn’t only their development but also about ML helps MC dealing with the rapist(the one that was mentioned in ch14)since MC is powerless despite being the detective, he couldn’t do anything to bring justices to the victim and her family which lead to the victim unalive herself, and her mom was killed by a hit and run after protesting for her daughter’s justice which was caused by the rapist’s politician father and masked as a hit and run accident.
In the novel, MC were supposed to meet the rapist again by chance and then went to visit the victim’s father. MC got blamed and harsh words from him because he didn’t bring his daughter the justice like he promised, and told MC the truth about his wife’s death when everyone believed it was a hit and run accident. MC drown himself in alcohol and went to the bar where rapist usually went to confront him but again, he got slapped by the reality that he, a mere detective, can’t do anything to him, a son of a powerful politician. When coming out, MC met ML again and was asked “who made him cry(because MC’s eyes were all red like he would broke down at any moment). That was when ML help MC on his own, by exposing the video of the rapist and it was spread all over the news. The headline [The internet is in chaos right now. A shockin g video was uploaded early this morning, sho wing a talent agency CEO violently assaulting an employee. As you can see, he drags the p erson around like an animal and stomps on th eir head with his shoe. It's horrifying.] that was supposed to happen before chapter 34 when MC and ML went camping together and ML pretended to be in rut.
Unfortunately, all of that was omitted from the manhwa.
Since everything was cut out, I have been thinking how are they gonna handle it especially when the season 2 will begin with the devastating news about the victim’s father. I wonder if they will make it like a little flashbacks and done with it
And the reason why they went camping because MC was told to take a break since the police station was full of chaos and the rapist came to see him thinking MC was the one who exposed the video, and even told him he would regret it. Then after camping and before chapter 41, the victim’s father called MC apologizing for being harsh to him back then and telling him that he was asked by reporters if he could come to their broadcast and tell them about his daughter’s story.

Ikr? I guess because it’s a sensitive topic especially in South Korea, there are a lot cases of SA and the victims get the blame instead of the rapist and end unaliving themselves. that might why the artist decided to cut it out and improvise it
Wtf wait why would they omitted this? If there was a set up about this incident through the flashbacks in ch14 why isnt it being followed through.....i understand why novel readers are upset now damn

There are stories out there ended happily with a few things unsolved or unmentioned again after mentioning it somewhere in the story. So what made the author worried about people going to be confused or wonder about what would happen with the grandpa?? I know he was mentioned early in the story and they never mentioned him again for 4 seasons. Not even 2 out of 10 mentioned about it so why they have to tell us “oh this is what will happen when the grandpa fully appears in the story”
Now call me sick, but I want that ass grandpa being tied on in the chair and watch Taesung and haebom making love in front of him. It’s not something that two of them would agree to but I want to that old man to see it full view and die from high blood pressure.
Or hopefully there is an old guy who wants to flip him and make him submissive. Fake his death, take him to an island and him your sex toy though his hole might be too old and sour
Their plan on introducing the problems and pressure is good but in the worst timing.
The problem with that old ass man should be introduced early in the story not after everything the characters have gone through to be happy after 4 seasons
They could do that IF it were a novel. They only give themselves a hard time sitting all day working on the same work instead of making a new work.
I don’t want to say this, but they should pick up a novel on Ridi or Bomtoon and adapt it. Their art is good but their writing isn’t it and it would waste their skills

I meant they should introduce the current problem with that grandpa as soon as they mentioned him. Why only 4 seasons later that they brought that up? They are wasting their time.
If they wanted to make a whole story about what they have been through since they were young till they are old, then it’s up to the author since they don’t want to work on anything else
I know that the damn homophobic grandpa was mentioned somewhere in the story but the story was ended with season 5 without any problem and not 2 out of 10 readers raise about that but yet, the author decided to come back with season 6 addressing the problem with that damn homophobic grandpa? Did they get kidnapped and was force to do that??
