This, in my opinion, would’ve been better if he had let her go after she confessed. And then we could’ve had the “yearning phase”.Like bro he literally said “I’m sorry” at the beach and then when she asked him if he likes her, he started blushing. This had so much more potential but what can I do ╮(￣▽￣)╭. I also don’t think u can move on that fast from crushing on someone for that long (6-8 years).
