Yet another story with good potential ruined with rape
It was already crossing the line with SA at the beginning but I was trying to let it slide to see how it would end since it's so short, only for it to have rape right at their first time together... Not surprised tbh

I honestly loved the story until the side stories.
I remember being sad not getting at least a glimpse of smut in at the end of the road, but I was honestly glad after reading mad dog.
The only reason Mad Dog is still in my fav list, is because:
1. I just act like the side stories don't exist
2. I feel like their sex is always gonna be borderline rapey, because MC is just too bratty for a seme like this
But yeah, I was also massively disappointed by the side story because of this

This manhwa was so beautiful and touching, no red flags and a really well written story
I find it really funny when an author try to make this conspicuous stories with mafia, kidnapping and so on when they can't even write the most basic shit lol the characters have no substance, it's 90% fuck 10% plot and the plot is a mess.
I mean, I want to disagree with you because I want this story to be decent but you’re kinda spot on. lol
We shouldn't have to say this, but: it's so good to see mutual respect in a relationship! The way they're taking things slowly and taking care of each other is so sweet
I saw so many people recommending this saying it was so deep and beautiful so I'm like... Was that it? Being a short story with only 6 chapters if you want to talk about things like grieving and do it right at least don't make most of your characters interactions being pure sex without any context. It just feels empty and lazy
I think other people resonated with the very beginning of the story that going into more detail wasn’t necessary. Love that blossomed from jr. high into college years and showing the read even a small sliver of their romance readers can pretty much figure what those interactions were like

I just read it all in one night and I'm bawling my eyes out, it's the first time I cry while reading a manhwa... It just hits SO right on your feelings with all the characters. It seems like we are close to a happy ending, thank god
It really hooked me on the first chapters but I think the story loses a lot of pacing by the middle of it. It feels like they drag out solving Park's case for so long and then solve it so quickly in just a few chapters so it just doesn't feel very realistic. The characters here are the strong point, really well written and with great development. The romance was so so, they're both fucked up in their own ways, specially the main character, but it doesn't feel like they really loved each other, more like they had this codependency that glued they together. I still enjoyed reading it but wouldn't call it a masterpiece.
