As fucked up as it is, the author definitely knows how to portray mu chun's obsession and guilt at the same time. I actually teared up at the last panels of chapter 29. Him crying of relief and sadness. Sad that he admits his master is dead and might evolve to something he can't control anymore. But also relief that his master unknowingly acknowledged and accepted mu chun's feelings. Their dynamics reminded me so much of Binghe and Qingqiu, especially the way Binghe grieves when Qingqiu died (temporarily).
I was about to run and find the novel for this until I remember this author wrote doujins before, so this is their first original work....

I read the raw yesterday and just now realized that Jake's lowkey outing their relationship??? Is it not gay to put your lips on the face of your half-dying homie in front of your coworkers?????? Especially if you're known to be emotionless.... I hope it's not hiatus next update. See you on Sept 2!
As if Jake wasn't obvious enough as it is
Does Shutline have a release schedule?
