this was one of my very first yaois. Loved it so much I gave it 5stars at the time, I'm afraid to reread after the full development of my frontal cortex
i read a beautiful manhwa a while ago, but the names of the characters were horribly changed into western names halfway through as the scanalator team changed. i know that they're working hard to provide the translations, but changing the names was really unnecessary.
I really hated that, it had much more charm with it's original character names. The story was set in korea surrounded by korean people which started by using their orginal korean names

that was probably the official english translation you were reading then as they tend to do that unlike scanlation groups. i also prefer the original names but oh well it's better to just get used to it or just read the official one from the get-go
probably, it might not have bothered me if I read the official translation from the start as you said, but when it was halfway it felt meh :/
I only read up to 20 chapters and was wondering if it's any closer to its completion cause I've been marinating for years and I'm lacking works to read. Can't read an ongoing series cause my impatient aah can't wait if there's a break in releases
I‘d say we are VERY close to the end. At the finale arc rn, we may get bonus chapters after it ends but my bet is that there are maybe 5 chapters ahead of us before the story is fully finished.

my job doesn't allow me to read much I only ever get to read like 5 chapters at night before I pass out
