Does anyone know a good site to read danmei/Chinese novels in English? Lately I’ve been into bl dramas but because of the insane censorship in china the drama adaptations always end with an incomplete or tragic ending even if the novel ends differently.. I’m not sure where to read the novels though so I end up avoiding bl c dramas but I reallyyy want to watch guardian and stay with me

What I normally do tho is search up the name I wanna watch in novelupdates....there if the novel have eng translation and by which grp it is found....and then just search the grp name

It's a hub for chinese, korean and japanese novels. You can filter by genre and have in your homepage a feed of updates only of the genre you are interested. [My feed is only danmei]
Otherwise try the title of a danmei and search for a carrd site, they usually have a link for translations if it has not been licensed.

Don’t read this if you think a 16 year old boy crushing on a 8 year old girl is creepythe age gap is really odd to me especially when there are two other boys way closer in age that like her too,(author tripping if they make the older boy ml which is my assumption), yes there is the fact that her mental age is older but obviously that doesn’t make the ml any less a creeper or the situation any better in my opinion.. if you can get past that the story is pretty decent but not enough to make up for the weird ass dynamic between the two. I wish it were just a sibling bond instead..
Dead ass was looking through the comments to see if anyone else thought the same thing. I guess it’s to have a Male lead who already has the authority to protect the female lead since he’s older but that just sounds unnecessary.
Yeah that’s a possibility but I there lots of other stories that have mls that are older than the lead and some sort of greater power be it politically or physically, but don’t have such a huge age gap, like why not just age up the fl a few years? if she were at least 13 I could maybe let it slide- but the thought of a 16 year old taking romantic interest in an 8 year old is really disturbing, he’s almost an adult meanwhile she hasn’t even gone into puberty
